The Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani, is an Institution declared as Deemed to be University under Section 3 of the UGC act. It is an all-India Institute for higher education, fully residential, and awards its own degrees. Admissions to MBA programme (On campus) of BITS Pilani, at its Pilani campus, for the I Semester 2016-17 will be made on the basis of CAT 2015/GMAT scores together with group discussion (GD) and interview(s) of candidates.
B.E. / B.Tech. in Engineering or a Masters Degree in any discipline from any recognized university or any Integrated first degree of BITS.
Candidates should have obtained minimum of 60% aggregate marks in qualifying degree.
Note :
For MBA Programme, candidates may be shortlisted based on their CAT/GMAT scores. Such shortlisted candidates will also have to appear for group discussion and personal interview to be held at Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Goa and Pilani during March/April 2016. Few other centers may also be added.
The final list of the test centers will be announced only after all the applications are received and candidates will be informed of the same through BITS website http://www.bitsadmission.com.

However if a candidate discovers any mistake in the form submitted by him, he can submit a second application form duly completed before the last date, indicating on the top of second application form that his first application form (giving its number) should be cancelled. In such cases, the second application has to be accompanied by a fresh application fee.

Instructions
- Carefully read the brochure for eligibility conditions and other details. You can either download a copy of the brochure (pdf format).
- Read carefully all the instructions given in this page before proceeding to fill the online form. You are advised to take a print out of these instructions so that you can refer to the same while filling the form. Once you confirm the correctness of entered data it will be recorded and you will not be allowed to change it thereafter. Therefore before confirming ensure the correctness of all entered data. After reading the instructions, click on the 'Allow me to apply online' button at the bottom of this page. (You may have to scroll down the page to see the link)
- While filling the final aggregate %marks in the application form if your University/Institution awards results in the form of grade point convert it into % and enter it in the online form. (For ex: If your Cumulative Grade Point Average is 7.5 on a scale of 10 then enter the marks in percentage as 75% if your university does not have a conversion formula). To finalize your Admission, your final results of the qualifying degree should be available by October 1, 2016. Please read the handout for more details.
- Before printing out the filled form, the system will generate a unique application number for you. Note down this number without fail and use it in your future communication.
- After completing the form online, you will be asked to take print outs of the filled form. You should take two copies of the printout, complete the form and send one copy of the same with the proof of fee payment by registered post /speed post to 'Dean Admissions, BITS, Pilani, Rajasthan - 333 031 (India)' before 5:00 P.M., February 15, 2016. You should keep the second copy with you for your reference.
- After successful completion of the application process, please check the status of your application at http://www.bitsadmission.com/mbamain.aspx and follow the instructions.
- If you do not have a printer attached to the computer, you can go to the printout page again by entering the personal details and the application number.
- While applying online, do not use the 'Back' button on the tool bar of your browser. Use the links and buttons available on the page to move from one page to another. Further, when you have completed applying, close all the open browser windows so that others cannot copy your personal details.
- When you are ready to apply online, you can click the link at the bottom of this page.
Note : The application fee is Rs. 2090/-. The fee payment can be made in one of the following modes:
- Payment by Credit Cards (All credit cards issued by Master and Visa) or Payment by debit Cards (Debit cards issued by VISA of select banks, namely (Andhra Bank, Axis Bank, Barclays Bank, Canara Bank, City Union Bank, Corporation Bank, Deutsche Bank, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, IOB Bank, Kotak bank, Standard Chartered, SBI, Syndicate bank, Federal Bank, Karur Vysya Bank, GE Money financial services.)
- Payment through Net Banking (Allahabad Bank, Axis Bank, Bank of Baroda, Bank of India, Bank of Rajasthan, Corporation Bank, Federal Bank, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Karnataka Bank, Oriental Bank of Commerce, South Indian Bank, Vijaya Bank, Yes Bank, Citi Bank).

By cash payment at all ICICI Bank branches through a challan which is to be printed from this website while registering if you choose challan mode of Payment.
While Filling the MBA Application form online, choose the first Payment option, namely "Payment by cash at ICICI bank branches through Challan". An online fee payment challan gets automatically generated. Take a printout of this challan & sign at the designated Places. Take this challan to any of the ICICI Bank branches and hand it over to the Bank Staff along with the amount specified on challan in cash. The bank staff shall note down a bank transaction no on the challan, sign and stamp at all the three parts of the challan. The bank shall keep the "Bank copy" part of the challan for their records and return the "Student Copy" and "Institution Copy" to you. Keep the applicant copy with you for records and attach the "Institution Copy" along with the printout of the application form & post them to the BITS Pilani.

Admissions to MBA programme of BITS, Pilani, at its Pilani campus, for the I Semester 2015-16 will be made on the basis of CAT 2014/GMAT and group discussion and interview(s) of candidates. Candidates may be shortlisted based on their CAT scores. Such shortlisted candidates will have to appear for Group Discussion and Interview to be held at few cities including Pilani during March/April 2015. Other centers for Test/Interviews may also be notified.

Schedule of Fees
The fees structure for Academic Year 2015-16 (All figures are in INR) is given below.All fees are to be paid in advance. Only caution deposit and mess advance is refundable after adjustment of dues at the time of withdrawal from the Institute. This applies to prospective candidates who are seeking admission as well as ongoing students of the Institute.

- The above are for a normal situation. Wherever a student's programme gets modified or his progress is delayed beyond the maximum permissible, such a student is advised to consult the appropriate authority before registration.
- $ The above prescribed semester fees is for the FD, HD and PhD students admitted in the academic year 2015-16.For these students, the semester, term and admission fees will be revised upward every year but will not increase beyond 15% each year.
- The fees and other charges are payable in advance in each semester/term on the notified dates before registration. No withdrawal from a course or courses will entitle a student for refund of fees.
- Students who go for Practice School II will be charged semester fees and the summer term fees because the practice school is longer than a semester and extends it to summer.
- Casual students will pay fees prescribed for regular students.
- Institute caution deposits are refundable only at the time of withdrawal from the Institute.
- If there are dues outstanding from a student, his grades will be withheld.
- Students who accumulate mess arrears would be required to pay a prescribed additional advance at the time of next registration.
- Refunds, if any, will be made through crossed cheques/Bank Drafts.
